Over 35 Years Ago, Cornerstone Bible Church Existed As Tri-City Baptist. It Was A Large Church Of 328 Members And The Sanctuary Could Seat More Than 500 People. The Building Stood Where The Parking Lot Of Home Depot On Mt. Moriah Rd. Is Today. The Pastor Of Tri-City Baptist Was Lamar Mooneyham. He Left The Church In 1982 To Go To Northside Baptist In Charlotte, NC. Clayton Simmons Was Called As The Next Pastor But Was Let Go After A Short Period Of Time.
